Often wonder what life is all about? I do, most days. Not the first person to find themselves in a job, house, town, life they don’t like. I finally decided to do the big one, the daydream is now a reality. I have been thinking about a long journey by motorcycle for a many years, but for one reason or another kept delaying. I worried about the cost of going, then the cost of not going – getting old, missing out in a changing world.
The final decision to actually do it was made in somewhat of a hurry. No long drawn out planning, a bit of on-line research, a week or two deciding on a bike and plenty of advice from seasoned motorcycle travellers and I’m on my way.
Now I’m doing it and it almost seems too easy. Sure there will be surprises challenges on the way, but right now its about enjoying the ride, meeting the people and experiencing the cultures of the world.
